This is the fun part! I’ll guide you through natural poses and playful prompts — no stiff smiles or awkward moments. Even if it’s your first time in front of the camera, you’ll feel comfortable and confident.

You’ll get sneak peeks within a few days and the full gallery in just a couple weeks. Download, share, frame and hang on your wall, or use your favorites for Save the Dates. These photos are yours forever!

Meet Your Photographer
Hi! I’m Jake, an engagement and wedding photographer based in Falls Church, VA. I’m all about capturing genuine moments and helping couples feel completely at ease in front of the camera. I know how awkward it can feel to pose for photos, which is why I like to kick things off by just chatting and getting to know each other. Once we connect, you might even forget you're in front of the camera, and the real magic happens — the laughs, the glances, the moments that actually feel like you.
I bring a relaxed, low-key energy to my shoots (with just the right dose of enthusiasm) and work hard to create a space where you can fully be yourselves. Think of it more like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a camera than a traditional photoshoot.
When I’m not photographing awesome couples, you’ll probably find me playing guitar, camping out in Shenandoah, checking out a new winery with friends, or taking a road trip to visit family. I’m also an engineer by trade, but it’s photography that lights me up the most.
